All parts of both the journalistic and creative processes excite me. The job of the media is to inform, and to do so in an ethical, honest and fair way.
I believe that in journalism, and all of life, it is necessary to push for transparency from the government and access to information, speak up for those who are ignored or oppressed and approach all things with an open mind and heart. I seek to tell the stories of others in a way that moves people, whether to thought, emotion or action. Passion drives me, truth motivates me, and love guides me in all things I do.
